About Us

Dear Parents,

After completing my Master’s at Oxford and returning home, I noticed a striking pattern. Almost everyone in my circle was becoming a parent, embarking on that beautiful, chaotic journey of raising a child. But as I sat on my friends' living room floors, I saw a consistent, unsettling sight: a sea of neon plastic. From the crib to the play mat - everything was made of plastic. It made me look into the "hidden cost" of these materials, and what I found changed my perspective forever.

Infants today carry 20 times the microplastic concentration of adults. Because their systems are still growing, they are uniquely vulnerable to endocrine disruptors—microscopic chemicals that leach from common plastics and can mess with a baby’s natural hormonal development. When you realize that babies literally "taste" their way through the world, letting them chew on materials that shed these particles just didn't feel right anymore.

Beyond the safety risk, I saw my friends struggling with a second burden: nurseries overflowing with a mountain of generic products that felt loud and cluttered, yet lacked a clear sense of purpose. It bothered me that while we have access to the world’s best information, the physical tools we give our babies in India often fall short of that same excellence.

The Birth of Nubokind

I started Nubokind (nübo) to strip away that risk and that clutter. The name is a promise: nübo represents the New Born, and kind represents the gentle, conscious start every child deserves.

We’ve taken a rigorous, research-driven approach to Indian parenting. We aren’t just selling products; we are creating plastic-free, science-backed essentials—like our BIS-certified foodl-grade silicone teethers and fabric books. Every item is designed to turn small, everyday moments into safe windows of discovery.

At Nubokind, we are building the quality and calm that I believe every Indian parent and child deserves.

Warmly,

Aditya Chopra
